AccuPid H. pylori Genotyping Kit utilizes real-time PCR technology for the detection and genotyping of the cagA and vacA genes (s1/s2 and m1/m2 subtypes) in the genetic material (DNA) of Helicobacter pylori (H. pylori), a bacterium associated with gastroduodenal diseases and gastric cancer, from gastric biopsy specimens suspected of H. pylori infection. The kit provides high specificity and sensitivity while minimizing the risk of cross-contamination compared to other PCR-based techniques.
